An Edmonton client is seeking a B Pressure Welder to join their team.
B Pressure Welder Highlights:
· We are seeking a skilled B Pressure Welder to join our manufacturing team. If you have experience in welding pressure vessels and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you. Join a company that values safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
· Weld pressure vessels in compliance with drawing and code requirements, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
· Perform basic fabrication tasks related to pressure vessel manufacturing.
· Utilize SMAW and GMAW welding techniques with precision to ensure quality results.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that health and safety rules are always followed.
· Assist in maintaining workplace safety by supporting others in keeping their areas clean.
· Work at heights as required (training provided).
· Collaborate closely with the foreman and follow instructions to meet tight deadlines.
· Perform fitment tasks to ensure pressure vessels meet technical requirements.
· 3+ years of experience in welding and fabricating pressure vessels.
· Ability to pass a pre-test for welding certification.
· Skilled in both SMAW and GMAW welding practices.
· Ability to work well under pressure and in demanding conditions, meeting production schedules.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
· Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, working at heights, and climbing on/off equipment or ladders.
· Work in a large manufacturing facility alongside other trades.
· Be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including inside and outside work.
· Occasionally work extended hours beyond the typical 8-hour day and be available on weekends when required.
· Uphold a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork in all areas of the job.
B Pressure Welder Hours
· Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
