An Edmonton client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Administrative Assistant Highlights:

·         We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support for office operations, including phone management, data entry, and inbox coordination. This role requires proficiency in Excel for managing property addresses, tracking damage reports, and cost entries. You will also assist with filing, general office tasks, and retrieving information from various sources.

·         Phone Management: Answer incoming calls and efficiently pass on messages to the appropriate team members.

·         Data Entry: Enter and manage data using Excel, including tracking 1600 property addresses, sending out letters, and entering registered letter details.

·         Damage Report Management: Record damage reports, log associated costs, and send them to builders using basic to intermediate Excel skills.

·         Email Management: Oversee and manage the general inbox via Outlook, ensuring timely responses and message organization.

·         Filing and Organization: Organize paper documents into file folders, ensuring all materials are marked and coded for easy retrieval.

·         Research Assistance: Assist in gathering information, such as locating older reports, including finding documents like a report written by the city 10 years ago using Google or other tools.

·         Skills and Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in Excel: Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.

·         Communication Skills: Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills for handling phone calls and managing the general inbox.

·         Attention to Detail: Ability to organize documents, track data, and maintain a high level of accuracy in administrative tasks.

·         Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage flexible hours effectively within the standard office schedule.

Administrative Assistant Hours & Wage

·         $21 - $22/hour

·         Monday to Friday – 8:30 to 4:30 or 9:00 to 5:00
