Job Full Description
An Edmonton client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team.
Manufacturing Technician Highlights:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate machinery, fabricate parts, and support production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience running multiple machines, measuring accurately, and handling gasket fabrication and painting. Familiarity with CNC, plasma cutting, and MIG welding is a plus. This role is suited for a detail-oriented technician capable of maintaining precision and quality on the production floor.
· Machine Operation: Operate and monitor multiple machines, ensuring production goals are met.
· Measurement Accuracy: Use a tape measure accurately to ensure correct dimensions in all tasks.
· Gasket Fabrication: Paint and fabricate gaskets according to specifications, maintaining quality and attention to color detail.
· Welding Support: Utilize MIG welding for fabrication as needed (experience preferred).
· Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to production standards.
· Measurement: Proficient in reading and using a tape measure for precise measurements.
· Color Distinction: Ability to distinguish between colors when painting gaskets.
· Physical Stamina: Capable of standing and working on feet for 8-10 hour shifts.
· Preferred Qualifications
· Welding Experience: MIG welding experience is an asset.
· Machine Expertise: Experience with CNC or plasma cutting machines is highly preferred.
· Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is beneficial.
Manufacturing Technician Hours & Wage
· Monday to Friday, 8 - 10 hours a days.
· $23/hour
