Job Full Description
An Edmonton client seeks a Site Safety to join their team.
Site Safety Highlights:
· Assist the Site Superintendent throughout a 4-floor construction project, remaining on-site for the project's duration.
· Perform temperature checks, oversee site kickoffs, and lead toolbox talks, ensuring all safety protocols are communicated effectively.
· Conduct hazard assessments, and handle injury and accident reports or investigations as needed.
· Monitor the site continuously during shifts, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
· Requirements:
· 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role, with more experience preferred.
· Strong personality with the ability to command a room and provide clear, direct instructions.
· Comfortable working independently and taking charge in various situations.
· Thick-skinned, outgoing, and outspoken, with the ability to handle direct communication.
· Familiarity with safety procedures and paperwork, though no formal certification is required.
· Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs if involved in an investigation.
· Must supply their own steel-toed shoes; N95 mask and other PPE will be provided.
· Other Information:
· No software usage is required; all documentation will be done on paper.
· Responsible for the safety of approximately 100 employees on site.

· 07:00 am to 7:00 pm – Monday to Friday
· 35/hour
