An Edmonton client is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team.
Deliver Driver Highlights:
· We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver with experience operating a 5-ton truck to join our team. This part-time role involves performing scheduled deliveries in Edmonton and nearby areas, ensuring efficient and timely order delivery. · Key Responsibilities:
· Driving and Delivery Tasks:
· Safely operate a 5-ton truck with a focus on timely and accurate deliveries.
· Follow established routes, including scheduled stops in South and downtown Edmonton (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and North and downtown Edmonton (Wednesdays and Fridays).
· Occasionally, complete deliveries to surrounding areas, such as Nisku, Leduc, or Stony Plain.
· Physical Requirements:
· Lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly.
· Perform tasks requiring physical activity, such as standing, climbing stairs, and maneuvering throughout the warehouse.
· Customer and Team Interaction:
· Communicate effectively in English to handle invoices, interact with clients, and coordinate with team members.
· Qualifications:
· Experience:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a 5-ton truck.
· A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
· Skills:
· Strong communication skills in English for effective customer and team interactions.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to on-time deliveries.
Deliver Driver Hours & Wage
· $21 - $23/ hour
· Monday to Friday, 8:00 am start time
· Variable shift lengths: 4 to 8 hours/day depending on delivery and warehouse needs
