Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Operations Associate on behalf of our client, a leading animal feed provider within Lethbridge. The right candidate will take on this customer service centered role, to assist with the company growth and overall success of the team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• 60% of your day will be in the office, while 40% of your day will be in the warehouse
• Customer Service is a huge part of your role, you will be working directly with customers.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
• Build ongoing relationships with customers
• Providing support to the outside sales force
• Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system
• Receiving and shipping all materials and products in an accurate and timely manner
• Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment
• Organize and maintain all applicable records and files

Qualifications/Experience:

• 2+ years of Agriculture experience
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of beef/dairy nutrition and industry needs is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Self-motivated
• Independent and self-driven
• Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always
• Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel/ spreadsheet
• Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Analytical and problem-solving capability

Additional Information:

• Work hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4PM and Friday’s 7:30 AM to 2-3PM (depending on workload).
