The AP/AR role is responsible for bookkeeping and invoicing duties related to Accounts Receivable and Payable to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the company.
Responsibility:
o Responsible for Accounts Payable tracking/processing/reconciliation activities in QuickBooks
o Responsible for Accounts Receivable reports/collections/follow up on discrepancies
o Prepares bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
o Prepares and maintains accounting documents and records
o Reconcile multi-company bank accounts and perform other general administrative services as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1 year’s experience in bookkeeping and/or basic accounting role
· Minimum of 1 year of experience with QuickBooks and MS office with sound excel knowledge
· Excellent communications skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to handle confidential material with discretion
This is an contract position which could lead to a permanent position based on candidate's performance
