Job Full Description

We are hiring a CNC Programmer for Glass Fabrication for a Manufacturing company located in Burnaby.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret and create shop drawings
• Overall computer skills – familiar with Microsoft Office
• Must have basic experience using AutoCad/Autodesk
• Good communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
• Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Prepare drawings for Production department/Fabrication
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Training new staff on machine operation procedures
