Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals – Cloverdale/Langley’s client, a construction industry supplier in Langley, BC, is looking for an experienced Deliver Driver/Picker.
This is a possible Direct Hire position or temp-to-perm.
Position Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with shipping department and Production Manager regarding delivery and schedules
Coordinate with shipping department regarding material that is being returned from sites. Ensure proper documentation is completed for inventory
Load shipments in accordance with industry standards, operating procedures and ensure documentation is prepared/checked and notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Load securement is a critical aspect to this role
Always ensure to adhere to proper procedure regarding material storage. General housekeeping throughout the day
Regularly inspect, maintain and service trucks, equipment and tools required
Maintain log books as per the ministry of transportation standards
Requirements:
3-4 years’ experience operating semi-trailers and cranes.
Physically able to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
Valid driver’s license with a clean commercial driving abstract
Experience hauling a 53’ trailer. Wide and long load experience required
Crane and Hiab experience is required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment as well as knowledge of lumber products is considered an asset

Wage is $25+/hour to start.
Monday to Friday days, possibility for OT
