Hiring a Transport Refrigeration Technician for a long-standing company who’s a leader in climate control products and support service for the transportation industry.
The Transport Refrigeration Technician performs technical tasks to aid in the assembly, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of variable speed and diesel driven cooling/heating systems, components and mechanical equipment on trucks, trailers and intermodal containers.

Main Responsibilities:
The Transport Refrigeration Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair truck / trailer refrigeration units, AC Equipment, container refrigeration units and Generator sets.
· Install Refrigeration units
· Complete preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
· Ensure all work completed meets or exceeds the company standards
· Be available for the on-call service rotation (mobile technicians)
The following experience and skills are an asset:
· 2-3 years experience in any of the following fields: transport refrigeration, automotive technician, electrical, AC/HVAC or Diesel Engine mechanic.
· Piping skills: sil-fos / silver soldering
· Have your own tools
· Valid Class 5 drivers license
· Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
· Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills
· Ability to work effectively as both a team player and an individual contributor
· Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose electrical systems
Salary: $28.68-$43.19 per hour ($59,654-$89,835 per year)
