Job Full Description
We are currently recruiting for Administrative Assistants & Receptionists for our clients in the Tri-Cities: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam & Port Moody. We are looking for candidates to join our casual administrative pool for casual/contract candidate pool.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of receptionist experience using a multi-line switchboard
- Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel: Intermediate level
- Strong & accurate typing skills: eSkills assessment would be required
- Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn & support a team
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to various settings.
Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage and distribute incoming mail and courier packages.
- Perform data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Maintain and update records, logs, and databases.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
- Assist in preparing reports and/or correspondence.
- Order and organize office supplies as needed.
- Handle basic troubleshooting for office equipment like printers and copiers.
- Support event or meeting setup (e.g., arranging rooms, materials).
