Job Full Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Blending Operator on the graveyard shift with a client in Coquitlam. Please see the details below for the role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate blending machines according to specific procedures
- Weigh, dispense, and blend raw materials following detailed instructions
- Clean equipment and machine parts following established procedures
- Reconcile production orders and complete necessary paperwork
- Assist in other areas of production as needed
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 PM to 6:15 AM
Rate:
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a powder environment (PPE provided)
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- First Aid Level 1 (Training will be provided by the client)
- Must be authorized to work and committed to working 40 hours per week
- Reliable transportation is required as public transit may be limited during night shifts
- Respirators must be worn for safety purposes, and candidates are required to be clean-shaven. This is necessary to ensure a proper seal for the respirator, providing maximum protection against inhaling harmful contaminants.
Training:
- 6 weeks of training will be provided on either the morning or afternoon shift before transitioning to the graveyard shift.
