Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and efficient Service Coordinator to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading global manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians using dispatch software (FMP360).
- Create service orders and input customer data into internal systems (BAAN).
- Provide quotes based on technician recommendations and follow up with customers.
- Track service orders and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
- Assist with parts ordering and generate purchase orders when needed.
- Forward potential sales leads to the appropriate department.
- Maintain service-related reports for key accounts as required.
- Collaborate with service technicians, sales, and production teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Participate in cross-training for quoting, order processing, and more.
- Assist with answering corporate phone lines as part of the shared phone team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a field service, dispatch, or customer service role preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Post-secondary education preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure.
- Highly organized, dependable, and punctual.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take direction well.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with changing priorities.
- Must be flexible—overtime may be required occasionally (in line with company policy).
