Express Employment Professionals, Surrey, is searching for an Accounting Clerk (Temporary) who will have core responsibilities in maintaining the finances of our clients. Your role is vital within the company. You will work independently, taking the lead on company reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource on accounting and financial reporting.

Accountant job highlights:

• Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
• Prepare budget and financial forecasts
• Produce monthly financial and management reports
• Publish financial statements in time
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Conduct month-end and year-end close process
• Collect, analyze and summarize account information
• Maintain the billing system
• Generate invoices and account statements
• Maintain historical records
• Perform account reconciliations
• Prepare pay cheques and verify expense reports
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable files and records
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.

What we look for in Accountants:

• Degree in Accounting
• 2 to 4 years of experience as Accountant
• If you have Manufacturing industry experience, that's a plus!
• We need you to have experience with accounting software
• You'll have standard cost accounting knowledge
• Have an excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proven working experience as a cost accountant or in a meaningful field
• You should have thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
