Express Employment Professionals is currently searching for a Tire and Oil Change Technician to join our client for a full-time career opportunity. Our client is an independent service center with a great reputation for providing excellent service and quality repairs. Experience in the areas of general labour, tire repair, car repair, oil change, lube tech, tire technician, automotive, apprentice mechanic, general labor, tires, tire buster or automotive apprentice would be an asset for this role or other roles with our client.
Responsibilities:
· Change car and truck tires daily
· Do complete oil changes and fluid top ups
· Assist senior techs with repairs as required
· Operating hand and power tools/air tools
· Safely operate tire changing equipment
· Pick tire orders and prepare them for install
· Moving vehicles around in and out of the shop
· Assisting and learning from team members
· General cleanup of shop
Requirements:
· Prior tire and oil change or general automotive experience
· Mechanical aptitude and general interest in vehicles
· Class 5 driver’s license preferred to help move cars in and out of bay
· Previous experience in a shop will be considered an asset
· Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
· Safety oriented
· Steel toed boots
Our client Offers:
· Full-time permanent role
· Pay is $20-$25 per hour based on relevant experience
· Hours M-F 7:00am-6:00pm window so some flexibility in start and end time. One Saturday per month.
