Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently searching for a Field Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a recognized leader in providing solutions to the energy sector. The company is well-established in another Atlantic province and is now expanding into the Nova Scotia market.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new customer opportunities within Nova Scotia to grow the client base
· Travel across the province to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customers
· Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and represent the company’s solutions
· Regularly contact customers to nurture connections, address inquiries, and promote products and services
· Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to customer needs and ensure high satisfaction levels
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
· Prepare and deliver presentations or proposals to showcase company offerings effectively
Requirements:
· Excellent sales presentation and relationship-building skills to engage and retain customers
· Proven experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies, with a focus on new business development
· Demonstrated customer service and communication skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively
· Proven track record in sales, including achieving and exceeding targets
· Familiarity with Nova Scotia's geography and industrial sectors, including potential customers
· Strong knowledge of the Maritime energy and industrial marketplace is required
· Ability to work independently in a fully remote role, spending the majority of time on the road, while also collaborating effectively with team members.
· A reliable, professional and presentable vehicle suitable for frequent travel throughout Nova Scotia
· Degree or certification in Instrumentation, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is considered an asset
· Technical knowledge or experience in instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, or controls is an asset
Our client offers:
· Salary is $60,000 per year
· Commission plan based on performance
· Schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm, with some flexibility
