Job Full Description
On behalf of our client Express Employment Professionals is looking for a full-time Electronic Assembler for a local manufacturing company located in Dartmouth
Responsibilities:
· Assemble cables and harnesses following precise specifications
· Perform electromechanical assembly tasks, ensuring all components are properly aligned and secured
· Solder wires, connectors, and components with attention to detail and quality standards
· Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to verify compliance with specifications
· Interpret and build assemblies based on technical drawings and Manufacturing/Process instructions
· Meet production deadlines in alignment with the Mil-Aero delivery schedule
· Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and production goals
Requirements:
· Experience with mechanical assembly and the use of hand tools.
· Knowledge of WHMIS regulations
· Proficiency in hand-soldering, preferably J-STD-001 or equivalent is an asset
· Ability to read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings and wiring diagrams is an asset
· Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in assembly processes
· Manual dexterity and the ability to perform precise tasks with small components
· High school diploma or equivalency; or more than 2 years of experience in a similar role
· Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
· Must pass a criminal record check for security assessment
Our client offers:
· Pay is $17-$25 per hour based on experience
· Hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
· No weekends!
