Express Employment Professionals is actively looking for an Outside Sales Representative with a background in construction safety to join our client’s expanding team. Our client specializes in providing top-tier professional tools and equipment.
Job Duties:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence
· Meet with prospective clients to assess their product and service needs
· Build relationships with key decision-makers and ensure timely follow-up on all sales opportunities
· Collaborate with the Vice President of Business Development to develop accurate and profitable quotations
· Present proposals to clients, address any revisions and follow up to secure orders
· Work towards exceeding quarterly sales and margin targets, as agreed upon with leadership
· Gather and analyze competitive market intelligence to support business strategy
· Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of outside sales experience
· Expertise in construction industry safety equipment
· Proven ability to go the extra mile in sales efforts and customer service
· Strong sense of honesty and integrity in all business interactions
· Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building and maintaining relationships
· Proficiency with computers, including CRM systems and sales tracking tools
· Strong business understanding with solid mathematical skills for pricing and margin analysis
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with key decision-makers
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Ability to analyze market trends and gather competitive intelligence
· Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment
Our client Offers:
· Full-time permanent role
· Salary is $65,000-$75,000 a year based on experience
· Commission plan based on gross profit
· Monday to Friday schedule from 7 am – 4 pm
· Company provided vehicle and phone
