Product Specialist (Wood Care & Flooring)
Job description
The client is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Permanent Part-Time Wood Care & Flooring Specialist to join their growing team.
In this role, you'll be the wood care specialist for customers, guiding them with expert advice and helping them find the perfect solutions for their flooring and wood care projects.
What You'll Do:
- Become a Wood Care & Flooring Expert: Share your passion and knowledge, advising customers on selecting the best products from our extensive range of coatings, finishes, and flooring options. Comprehensive training provided.
- Craft Unforgettable Customer Experiences: Build lasting relationships by tailoring advice to individual needs and fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Teamwork Make the Dream Work: Lend a hand with basic administrative tasks like sales tracking to keep our operations smooth.
Who We're Looking For:
- A Woodworking Enthusiast: Knowledge of wood coatings, finishes, and/or hardwood flooring, wood industry experience
- Will be working in the Warehouse and the showroom as required
- Customer Service Champion: You thrive on connecting with people, understanding their needs, and exceeding their expectations.
- Clear Communication Master: You excel at explaining complex wood care solutions in a way that's both informative and engaging.
- Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and working towards shared goals.
- Lifelong Learner: You have a thirst for knowledge and are eager to learn about new products and industry trends.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to Lift Up to 50lbs
- Terms from April to October may lead to a full-time position.
- Work ethics and attitudes are important
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Background check required.

- Halifax Regional Municipality, NS (required)
Shift Days and Timings
- 25-30 hours a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 5 pm; Monday and Friday from 9am to 2pm. It can be flexible if needed.
