Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
Must be CWB Certified with 5+ years verifiable experience (FCAW & MCAW)

Must have custom welding experience - NOT production welding
Responsibilities
- Perform CUSTOM welding jobs- This is not production welding
- Perform welding operations on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery including press brake machines for shaping metal components.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in rigging and operating cranes for moving heavy materials as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with machining processes is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Competence in using hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience operating cranes or rigging equipment is preferred.
