Job Full Description
We are in search of a motivated, skilled and enthusiastic laminator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of composite materials, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential duties of the position include:
- Overnight travel when required (expenses paid)
- Load/Unload PCPS Inc. vehicle with proper equipment/products for specific job assignment
- Works with various chemicals and materials including but not limited to fiberglass, concrete, epoxy, PVC among many others
- Proper cleaning and operation of equipment
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm
Pay is based off experience
Technical Requirements
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, documents, correspondence, and memos
- Effective communication skills which include verbal and written in English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions – compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Have access to own vehicle and drivers license
Environment/Setting
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Noisy conditions periodically
- Wet or humid conditions (indoors)
- Working on ladders, rooftops, bucket trucks, scaffolding, etc.
- Illuminated and confining workspace
Ideally a candidate will have had training and certification for some/all the following:
- WHMIS
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Confined Space Rescue
- Half-face and Full-face Fit Tests
