Service Technician - Pump Repair Specialist November 18, 2024

Located in Cambridge, ON

Pay: $23 -$26

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of pumps, focusing on centrifugal pumps.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure each pump’s optimal performance.
Perform in-shop and on-site pump repair, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly.
Document service work, parts used, and customer interactions accurately and thoroughly.
Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Maintain a strong customer focus, offering professional service and clear communication regarding repairs and service timelines.
Ensure all repairs meet our quality standards and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Mechanically Inclined and can work with hand tools
Proven experience as a service technician, ideally with a focus on pumps or similar mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of centrifugal pumps and other pump types.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail.
A commitment to providing excellent service and high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license (G) with a clean driving record for off-site service work.
