Job Title: Manufacturing Production Engineer - Automotive
Location: Cambridge
Salary: $75,000 - $120,000 per year
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing metal stamping and robotic welding processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Assist in the design and development of new processes as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to drive continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in metal stamping and robotic welding processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role, preferably in metal stamping or robotic welding.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma, Kaizen, or lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD design software.
