We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Control Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical control systems for our products and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical control systems and components.
  • Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
  • Ensure systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of electrical control systems.
  • On-site commissioning and start-up of new equipment
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation including support manuals
  • Provide technical support
  • Work with Technicians to help de-bug during commissioning
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in control system design, automation, or related areas.
  • Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, power distribution, and control panels.
  • Ability to read and create technical documentation and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems or advanced control theory.
  • Familiarity with safety standards like NFPA 70E, IEC, or UL standards.
