Job Full Description
Position: 26' Box Truck Delivery Driver
Shift Time: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Daily deliveries to customer job sites and shops, picking up customer returns and purchase orders at vendors
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle, driving safely, and securing vehicle load at all times
- Responsible for carrying proper documentation in the vehicle at all times, i.e. license, Insurance, CVOR
- Unload truck upon return to the branch with any incoming freight
- Other related duties as assigned by the branch manager
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of delivery driving experience driving a commercial vehicle (CVOR rated, 5000lbs), including loading and unloading
- Valid G Class license and CVOR with clean driving record/abstract
- Attention to details, excellent time-management, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt and make decisions on site when trying to contact a customer
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices is an asset
