Communications Administrator

Location: Guelph, ON

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Communications Administrator to join a growing Christian ministry. This role is pivotal in supporting the communication and administrative systems within the national office to ensure effective ministry operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player possessing strong administrative skills and experience in managing communication systems.

As a Communications Administrator, you will work closely with executive leadership to implement strategic communication initiatives that promote the advancement of the ministry's mission. This includes overseeing office systems, managing communication processes, assisting with graphic design needs, and supporting the ministry's outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Support the efficient functioning of communication and information systems.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of procedure manuals.
  • Ensure smooth operations through inventory tracking and managing upcoming printing needs.

Information Management:

  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize office and communication systems.
  • Assist in generating reports and managing donor-related analytics.
  • Support the planning and implementation of operational changes for improved processes.

Communications:

  • Create graphic designs for both print and digital communication needs.
  • Assist in website management and ministry presentation tools.
  • Coordinate digital and hard-copy mailing schedules.
  • Help manage partner relations and ministry communication efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with office systems technologies and the ability to train and supervise support staff.
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and communication software.
  • Experience in graphic design for print and digital formats.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A pleasant demeanor and a passion for working in a Christian ministry setting.
