Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Administrator

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a workforce of 200-250 employees in a non-unionized environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing the full payroll cycle, providing excellent client services, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll for approximately 200-250 employees on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Attendance Management: Administer and track the attendance management program for employees, including processing absences and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- T4 & T2200 Preparation: Complete and distribute annual T4 forms, and produce T2200 forms for all eligible employees.
- End-of-Month Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for WSIB (Workplace Safety & Insurance Board), Labour Cost, and other payroll-related reports.
- ROE Preparation: Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs) as required by employees.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, providing clear and accurate information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Recordkeeping & Compliance: Maintain payroll records in accordance with applicable laws and company policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll regulations.
- Month-End Reports: Prepare and submit month-end payroll reports for accounting purposes.
- Payroll Software Management: Utilize ADP Payroll software and other systems for efficient payroll processing and reporting.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and systems.
- Experience with ADP Payroll software or similar payroll systems.
- Knowledge of payroll-related employee laws and regulations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working with attendance management and reporting systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to employee inquiries professionally.
