Afternoon Paint Shop Supervisor
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking candidates for an experienced Full time Afternoon Paint Shop Fabrication Supervisor on behalf of our client in Guelph Ontario.
A local steel company specializing in design, fabrication and erection of structural steel is currently recruiting for an Afternoon Paint Shop Fabrication Supervisor who will have core responsibilities in leading a team, managing production goals and working hands on to assist the team to complete and execute the day-to-day operations and tasks. This position is a vital role within the company, working directly with team members to collectively create a safe work environment and foster a culture of empowerment.
Description: This position offers a variety of duties which include but are not limited to;
- Participates in all paint shop daily activities
- Train, motivates and supervise a team of 4-6 people
- Complete industrial painting, overhead crane and lift truck operation
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00/ Hr.
Afternoons: 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday - Thursday
Shift premium, Attendance Recognition program incentive, Group RRSP program, Medical and Dental benefit program
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience in a supervisor, manager or team lead position in a relatable field
- Experience completing industrial painting
- Understand both imperial and metric system
- Able to read and interpret technical documents, drawings and blueprints
- Overhead crane and lift truck experience experience
