Job Full Description
Position: Shop Helper/Production Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.
Shift Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Utilizing a Oxy-Acetylene Torch to apply coatings to metal parts
- Using angle grinders to assist in the preparation of parts
- Support the preparation of parts through part-marking
- General clean-up on the shop floor
Qualifications/Experience:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency with using measuring tools, such as a Micrometer
- Welding experience, and experience using an Oxy-Acetylene torch is an asset
- Sandblasting experience is an asset
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts is an asset
This is a contract position, with the possibility of extension.
