Our client is a well-established engineering company in the Hamilton area. They specialize in the design and fabrication of specialty product for steel manufactures. They are looking to add a full time HR Admin to their team.
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of HR processes, along with experience in project management and change management.
Duties
- Maintain employee records in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) like Workday, SAP, or Ceridian.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training schedules.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in various HR projects, ensuring timelines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Generate reports related to employee data, turnover rates, and other HR metrics as needed.
- Assist with payroll processing using ADP to ensure accurate employee compensation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR support role or similar position is preferred.
- Versed in WSIB reporting's and case management .
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Waste Management Hazardous goods-registration and compliance
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new software tools as needed.
