Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Hand to oversee operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in mechanical work, particularly within the dealership environment. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Attend all factory -sponsored training classes as scheduled by management
- Ensure Vehicles are taken for road tests when necessary, including verifying of complaints, PDl, also as required.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in customer service and technical skills.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and provide solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that increase productivity.
- Is responsible for accountability for RIO and documentation to Customers, as all as internal, warranties, etc.
Qualifications
- 310S or 310T certification required.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- General mechanical skills.
- Manual dexterity.
- Good judgment.
- Must have necessary hand tools.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with other departments.
