Job Summary:

We have a local client looking for a Full Cycle Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for:

· Accounts & Bank Reconciliation

· Credit Card Reconciliation

· Assist with accounts payable processing

· Assist with Accounts receivable processing

· Remittance Filing & Payment

· Financial & Performance Reporting

· Records Management

· Rent Roll, Leases & Tenant Invoicing

· Billing/Tracking for Snow Removal Administration

· Oversees Payroll Administration

· Maintain Businesses' Insurance Policy Files

· Accounting/Sales Transactions Processing

· Customer Service

· Communications - Assisting with answering in-bound telephone calls & re-directing

· Mail Services

· Procurement/Inventory Management

· Office Machine/Equipment Maintenance

· Backup to the Bookkeeper position

· Create invoices for billing clients as needed.

· Assist in the preparation of tax returns as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification (preferred).
  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and suggest improvements.
  • Time Management: Manages time effectively to meet deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end closes.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and regulations
