Location: Kitchener, ON
Salary: $50,000/annually
Shift: Days Monday to Thursday, 9am – 6pm, Friday 8am – 5pm
This is a permanent position for the right candidate!
We are assisting our client in Kitchener to find a Consumer Proposal Team Member. Our client is a licensed insolvency trustee and is looking to add the next member to their growing team.
Consumer Proposal Team Member Responsibilities:
· Fielding new and existing client inquiries by phone. This encompasses new clients to our firm, existing clients asking to hold or adjust their payments, existing clients with various questions/issues, creditors with questions regarding a particular file
· Following up via phone, email, mail with clients regarding their missing payments or NSF payments – soft collection calls.
· Soft negotiations with creditors on the phone or by email to ensure the terms offered in the proposal by the client are acceptable and able to be agreed upon.
· Reviewing client files to ensure they are on track with all their duties so that their consumer proposal can be completed on time.
· Other duties as assigned
Consumer Proposal Team Member Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years’ working in a financial setting
· Completion of High School required
· Post-secondary in accounting or finance would be an asset
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (mainly Word and Excel)
· Great telephone skills, friendly personality, and organized
· Able to stay calm under pressure
