Our well-reputed client in Mississauga are in need of Mechanical Assembler for their project.  

Job Description: As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling mechanical components and ensuring the quality and functionality of the final product. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Component Assembly: Assemble mechanical parts and components according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
  2. Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  3. Testing: Conduct functional tests and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions to ensure product integrity.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any deviations or adjustments made during assembly.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and production supervisors, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in assembly processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational training or certification in mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Experience with mechanical tools and equipment, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and power drills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
