Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accounting Associate
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 Annually
Job Type: Full-time (On-site)
Experience Required: 2+ years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and communicative Bookkeeper/Accounting Associate to manage financial operations and support office administration. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping tasks, invoicing, payments, and follow-ups, ensuring smooth financial workflows and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage bookkeeping tasks.
- Process and verify invoices, disbursements, and payments.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage financial transactions.
- Handle time sheets, packing slip invoices, and order placements.
- Use Simply Accounting System, CYRIOUS Software, and RBC Express portals for accounting tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding payments and invoicing.
- Support day-to-day office operations and maintain financial documentation.
- Resolve account discrepancies and ensure compliance with safety and privacy protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Simply Accounting System and CYRIOUS Software.
- Experience with RBC Express portals.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
