Job Title: Service Parts Inventory Clerk
Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (with regular travel to Cambridge, Ontario, Canada)

Please Note: This position will be 4 weeks of training at the Cambridge location in the parts for service department, and then will moved to the Mississauga location.  Only apply if you are comfortable commuting to Cambridge. 

Job Summary:
The Service Parts Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring efficient parts management, customer service, and inventory control within the service department. This role involves sourcing and purchasing parts, updating documentation, managing shipments, and supporting warranty returns, all while maintaining safety and accuracy in inventory handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level customer service, addressing technician, service coordinator, and customer needs.
  • Advise on parts pricing and availability, collaborating with the service team to address customer breakdowns and deficiencies.
  • Ensure correct inventory levels through coordination with Logistics and Purchasing departments.
  • Expedite shipments for backorders and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages.
  • Maintain SAP system updates for materials, service jobs, and purchase orders.
  • Assist in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping parts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Operate material handling equipment, ensuring proper storage and organization of parts.
  • Support warranty part returns and adhere to procedures, quality assurance, and safety standards.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organize stock, and assist with inventory audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • OSSD or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in order picking and/or inventory management.
  • Proficient in ERP software (SAP preferred) and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver’s License (clean abstract) and possible Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.
  • Strong attention to detail, customer-focused, and a team player.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical blueprints and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Comfortable with learning new software and tools.
