This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has the ability to drive process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Accounts Receivable & Credit Oversight: Supervise the AR Specialist, review customer accounts, and assist in determining order release approvals.
• Cash Flow & Banking: Prepare daily cash summaries, weekly cash snapshots, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting & Close Process: Oversee the full month-end close process, including journal entries, sales rebate tracking, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements for executive review.
• Audit & Budgeting: Coordinate year-end audits and assist in preparing the annual budget.
• Tax & Royalty Reporting: File US sales taxes and prepare quarterly royalty reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Expense & Payment Processing: Administer Concur expense management and corporate card programs
• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Review orders in suspense and troubleshoot issues related to AR/AP, invoicing, and ERP workflows.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Infor Visual).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with other data visualization tools is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and drive process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
