Job Title: Admin Assistant (Accounting Department)

Job Location: Mississauga

Job Type: Full-Time (On Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our clients team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems

  • Perform basic data entry tasks including recording invoices, receipts, and expenses

  • Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable

  • Handle routine administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing financial documents

  • Prepare and update financial reports and spreadsheets using MS Excel

  • Provide general support to the accounting team, including managing invoices and tracking payments

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations

  • Assist in preparing for audits and assisting auditors as needed

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required

  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
