Our client, a world leader in industrial electrical services, is currently looking to expand their team. They are a leader in a corporate, safety driven culture and they have a large footprint right across North America.
They are currently looking to grow their team (Stratford) with an Electrician on a permanent basis. Does this sound like it would be a great fit for the next step in your career? If so, perhaps this was a role truly designed for you! This role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
As a Licensed Electrician, you are laser focused when it comes to Industry Quality Standards and have a strong knowledge and understanding of IATF16949/ISO9001 system procedures system procedures, including the maintaining and refurbishing of equipment.
You have a strong background within the industry and are familiar with the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and any other industry standards in all activities.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Licensed Electrician working with new and old production equipment and are comfortable with the direct maintenance, Repair and Refurbishment of equipment including CNC/PLC Robotic based manufacturing equipment including hydraulics’, pneumatics and controls installations.
You manage your workspace and the maintenance space with an organized mindset – and safety and project organization are some of your key skills!
What the Role Requires:
- This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and requires someone willing to work continental and rotating shifts. As a has you working with many facets of the organization – including Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Quality departments as you and the above departments are responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facilities.
- You are a collaborative team member who has experience with implementation of new Projects as well as the repair and maintenance of modified production machines
What You Offer:
- A valid Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A or 309A) and relevant industrial experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Hands on technical skills including the repair and refurbishment of Electrical Assembly, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic Systems, PLC
- You have worked with Robots and CNC based control and logic systems, and are comfortable with welding and basic manual machining skills
