Are you an experienced cabinet maker with a passion for crafting high-end custom furniture pieces? Our client is seeking highly skilled cabinet makers with a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing custom furniture. If you have a deep understanding of the manufacturing environment, an eye for detail, we invite you to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend shop drawings to accurately execute custom cabinet pieces.
- Utilize your extensive cabinet making experience to create high-quality craftsmanship and excellence.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, including saws, sanding machines, drill presses, routers, planers, and nail guns, with precision and safety.
- Collaborate effectively within a small team or work independently to accomplish production tasks within set timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, while also assisting with basic maintenance of equipment.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work full time and willingness to work additional hours when required to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet making, preferably with a focus on creating high-end custom furniture pieces.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding shop drawings to translate design concepts into finished products.
- In-depth knowledge of woodworking machinery operation and safety protocols.
- Ability to work meticulously and produce furniture pieces that meet or exceed established quality standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to manage tasks and prioritize workloads.
