Job Title: Fabrication/Fitter/Welder
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter/Welder to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, adept at fabricating, fitting and welding parts together, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Fabrication/Fitter/Welder will be responsible for machine setup, operating machinery safely, and completing all necessary documentation. This role requires a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform lifting and repetitive movements.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints to determine assembly and welding requirements.
- Fit and weld parts together according to specifications.
- Set up and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Use hand and power tools proficiently.
- Operate welding equipment with expertise.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform lifting and repetitive movements as necessary.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reading blueprints, fabricating, and welding (Flux).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ticketed Welder/Fitter preferred.
- CWB certification in Flux/FCAW welding.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Hardworking attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform lifting and repetitive movements.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
