Job Title: Sales Representative (Foundry Sector)

Location: [Flexible, with travel required]

Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative in the Foundry sector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company safety requirements while managing and expanding sales across Canada and the USA. You will develop, monitor, and review reports on sales and marketing results, coordinate customer orders and quotes, and serve as the primary liaison between customers and the company. Your role will also involve cost estimating, quoting, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to meet technical and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company safety requirements in all sales activities.
  • Develop, monitor, and review reports on sales and marketing results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate customer base, orders, and quotes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Process quotes and follow up with clients to address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Read and understand customer requests and specifications to provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct sales activities across Canada and the USA to expand market presence.
  • Estimate costs and prepare quotes in alignment with customer requirements and company capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to ensure technical and quality requirements are met.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a College/University degree in business (an asset).
  • Proven sales experience in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on the Foundry industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with Foundry methods and capabilities or transferable sales experience highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Hardworking and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other office equipment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
