Job Description: Construction Site Supervisor (ICI Sector)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate site operations within the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) sector. The successful candidate will lead project teams, ensure safety compliance, and drive operational excellence to achieve project schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project kickoff meetings to review the scope of work, identify risks, and explore opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety legislation on-site.
- Coordinate all contractors and direct on-site personnel to meet project objectives.
- Supervise daily site operations to achieve project schedules and maintain quality standards.
- Utilize construction technology and project management tools, including Procore and MS Project, to track progress and manage tasks.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures effectively.
- Adapt to changing project demands while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve challenges and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising construction projects within the ICI sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and MS Project is an asset.
- In-depth understanding of health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong adaptability, work ethic, and ability to lead as a team player.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with contractors, clients, and project teams.
