Job Description: Inside Technical Sales Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Inside Technical Sales Coordinator is a critical link between the company and its customers, responsible for processing quotes, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the President or designated supervisor, this role combines technical sales expertise with administrative support and occasional machine operation responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering relationships with both new and existing clients while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific Duties:
- Process customer quotes and create detailed RFP responses for potential clients.
- Prepare and present quotes for management approval.
- Identify and source raw materials and necessary products to complete quotes.
- Accurately input and manage quotes within the company’s computer systems.
- Thoroughly define customer requirements and ensure mutual agreement on specifications.
- Verify that all purchase order requirements are feasible and aligned with the company's capabilities.
- Actively monitor customer orders to ensure they remain on time, on budget, and meet all agreed specifications.
General Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Report damaged, deteriorating, mislabeled, or unidentified materials to the Quality Assurance Department to address non-conformance issues.
- Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with office equipment, tools, and associated parts.
- Sales Aptitude: Strong ability to sell to existing clients and develop relationships with new customers.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 1+ year experience as a machine operator or in a related technical role preferred.
- Proficiency: Skilled in using office equipment and relevant software.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
