Job Title: Electrical & Mechanical Technician
Location: North America (Travel Required)
Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Electrical & Mechanical Technician to join our client's team. This role involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment across North America. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical and mechanical systems, a detail-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving skills. This position requires regular travel and a focus on providing exceptional support to customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service industrial equipment at customer locations across North America.

  • Provide onsite operational training and support to customers.

  • Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical panels according to blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues efficiently.

  • Dismantle and refurbish older machinery to restore optimal performance.

  • Communicate clearly with customers to provide troubleshooting solutions and updates.

  • Manage parts orders, inventory, and shipment logistics.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for all service and repair activities.

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of industrial controls, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

  • Hands-on experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills for working with customers and team members.

  • Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel extensively across North America.

  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish or French is a strong asset.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical industrial equipment.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.


Additional Details:

  • This role requires frequent travel to customer locations throughout North America.

  • Competitive hourly wage of $28.00 - $30.00, based on skills and experience.
