Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist members with pension and benefits-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Manage inbound calls, transferring and directing calls to relevant team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member files, reviewing and updating information as necessary
- Set up new member files, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Liaise with investment managers (6) to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Draft letters of direction for investment managers, utilizing and updating templates as needed
- Verify and update member information to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Perform file maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Other duties as assigned
Credentials:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Completion of an Accounting Diploma considered an asset
- Previous experience with investments considered an asset
The wage for this position ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm
