Required skills and qualifications:
- Technical background: mechanical engineering, electro-mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or equivalent fabrication experience
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to generate accurate fabrication quotes
- Self-motivated team player: comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Excellent English communication skills: verbal and written (electronic)
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare accurate quotes for customers, factoring in materials, labor, subcontracting, and hardware costs
- Provide timely updates on open purchase orders and notify clients of any potential delays
- Analyze blueprints to determine project scope and generate quotes for customers
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities for existing customer products
- Serve as primary point of contact, liaising between clients and manufacturing departments to ensure seamless communication and project execution
- Perform additional duties as required
Wage: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
