Our client, a well-established and reputable Canadian grocery chain, is seeking Two (2) Order Pickers to join their distribution centre in the central East-end of Ottawa.

What We’re Looking For:
- Own vehicle required – No public transit available at end of shifts.
- Warehouse/Labour experience – Background in order picking, warehouse work, or fast-paced industries (restaurants, manufacturing, etc.) preferred.
- Equipment experience – Forklift or ride-on pallet jack experience is a strong asset.
- Physical stamina – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail – Accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
- Strong work ethic – Dependability and commitment to quality work.
- Must pass a background check.
- Weekend Availability – Must be able to work weekends.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating a ride-on low-lift pallet jack to navigate the warehouse.
- Picking and assembling orders according to order sheets.
- Stacking and wrapping pallets to prepare for shipment.
- Dropping off completed orders at the loading dock.
Work Schedule:
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Mandatory Overtime: Possible up to 2 hours per shift (OT paid after 8 hours per day!)
- Start with 3 shifts per week, with the opportunity to increase to 5 shifts based on performance.
