We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Construction Coordinator to join our client's team in the West End! Required skills and qualifications:

  • 1+ year of administrative experience
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in an industrial setting
  • Interest in construction and potential for growth into Project Coordination
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proactive and comfortable making phone calls to gather information
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops cost estimates using supplier websites and Conest for labour estimates.
  • Obtains quote approval, communicates proposals to customers, and tracks quotes on spreadsheets.
  • Follows up with customers to gather feedback and confirm quote acceptance.
  • Converts accepted quotes into work orders, obtains purchase orders, and tracks incoming materials.
  • Assists with: Obtaining ESA permits, Pre-job and post-job documentation, Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors, Service work order invoicing, Administrative tasks as requested by the Senior Project Coordinator
  • Answers customer calls, creates work orders, and hands them off to the Senior Project Coordinator for scheduling.
  •  Other administrative duties as assigned

Compensation:

$20.00 to $24.00 per hour to start ($45,000 to $50,000 per year)

Monday to Friday – Hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm
