We're seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our client's dynamic team, a leading company of quality flooring materials. Required skills and qualifications:
- Valid G class driver's license with experience driving a 3-ton/cube truck
- Clean driver's abstract
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- Mature and friendly demeanor
- Presentable and professional appearance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Customer-facing experience and excellent communication skills
- Team player willing to help out wherever needed
- Ability to handle physically demanding work
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver products/materials (carpet, flooring planks, ceramic tiles, etc.) to residential and commercial sites (2-3 deliveries/day)
- Perform "white glove" deliveries, placing products inside homes, condos, and commercial sites (including main floor, upstairs, and basement)
- Assist contractors with picking up orders and supplies
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment
- Pick up supplies from suppliers in Ottawa
- Prepare orders for next-day delivery (25-50% of daily tasks)
- Cut carpets to size using an x-acto knife
- Manually lift and move boxes (no tailgate or dollies) potentially up/down stairs
- Collaborate with a team member for larger deliveries
- Other duties as assigned

Wage: $21.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am – 4:00pm – Must be willing to do overtime as required
